ENOUGH IS ENOUGH

What Mumbai went through in the last 24 hours has left me disturbed and terrified to an extent. In my city, where I pay my taxes without fail, use public resources responsibly and live up to its so called spirit, i feel helpless and shattered. Having not gone through the ordeal myself, only allows me to write this, but does not leave me feeling any fortunate than the people who actually went through the terror because I know its going to happen to me sooner or later.
I am back at work today and so is the rest of the city, buzzing again with business but we do not have an option to doing so. Its not the much hyped crap of the 'Spirit of Mumbai ' that has got me going, it is the need to sustain in this damned expensive city, whose government ceases to take responsibility of its terror stuck people. So, people like me, with terror in heart and attitude of helplessness get back to business.
One face of government or rather Public Service arm on the other hand fills my heart with great pride and sense of belonging to this city, which is the valour of the our police, armed forces and all the people out there who fought out bravely, lost there lives while doing so. But apart from a monetary compensation, what is the government going to give their families. Their valour, sacrifice will soon be forgotten, once out of the media scene.
What can we do to justify their sacrifice ? To ensure our safety in future ? Do we not have the the right to information about the safety measures, government is planning to take in the futer? Isn't it high time to burst the myth bubble of Spirit of Mumbai which allows our politicians to just sit back and watch us getting back to superficial normalcy? So, should we write a petition to the government or a letter to the C. M.  I know, as an individual I am not equipped to find answers to all the questions I have, so please spare a moment and share your views.
